Company ProfileMaids in Waiting is a locally owned maid service which opened in 1987 in Durham, NC. Its owners had completed more than 20 years in management in community service operations in two different states prior to opening Maids in Waiting. From our first day of operation, services tailored to the customer needs and wishes have always differentiated our desire to serve from our competition. We have been rewarded with long-term customer loyalty and long-term employee retention because we are more than a house cleaning operation, we are a service business.
We provide all equipment and supplies for cleaning. We can meet any scheduling frequency you request - weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or as required. There are no additional charges for general cleaning, including oven cleaning. Prices for hardwood floor paste waxing and dry extraction carpet cleaning are priced separately for customers requesting those services. Maids-in-Waiting provides all necessary insurances to protect you from the unlikely possibility that someone would be injured or damage to your home or possessions would occur during our visit to your home. We maintain liability insurance, workman's compensation insurance and employee bonding insurance, and we pay all required taxes including Social Security and Medicare.
